Alumni Program

Mayflower Center’s alumni are actively involved in each other’s recovery and regularly participate in activities with current clients. Many of our alumni have relocated to the area after completing their treatment. These alumni have gone back to school or are working, often in jobs they commenced while in Next Step, our Extended Care Program. The robust 12 Step community surrounding Mayflower Center has welcomed our alumni with open arms; many of alumni have reciprocated by being volunteers in the 12 step meetings.

Mayflower Center’s weekly alumni meeting is a great way for alumni to share their successes with each other and with current Mayflower clients. The alumni meeting, held after our weekly in house men’s AA meeting, continues to grow in size as more and more of our clients embrace recovery while choosing to live in beautiful Marin County. Many of our clients come after completing a stay at other treatment centers, these clients are also active in local alumni groups for those centers.
